A "Toot Toot" and HOHO!

We made a trip to the Orr Family Farm last week to ride the train, see Santa and look at the lights. It was cold, so we didn't stay too long but we had a great time. We're looking forward to taking a visit when it gets warmer.

Did I mention that Wyatt went right to Santa?! Much better than our attempt for a Santa visit about a month ago at Bass Pro.

Fudge covered marshmellow on a stick- yummy!

Fresh Blueberries + Donuts

= Wyatt's perfect breakfast!

If you know Wyatt, then you know that this kid LOVES blueberries! He eats them as fast as we can give them to him and then does his sign for more. Thank you Super Target for having some fresh "blues" this weekend that didn't cost me an arm and a leg and thank you Christmas break for mornings that we can go to the drive through donut shop in are pj's :)

It's Beginning to Look Alot Like CHRISTMAS!

And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care.....

In hopes that St. Nick would soon be there!

OH Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!
(Yes, I realize our tree is "lacking" in the ornament department... BUT when you have a toddler at home, that's the best way to go!)

We are so ready for Christmas at the Pendergraph house! I've always loved everything about Christmas time- and this year it's even more fun. Wyatt loves our "tee" (tree) and "hoho" (Santa and snowmen). We can't wait to go look at Christmas lights and start opening presents!
It truly is THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Thanksgiving Break

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We headed to Duncan on Wednesday evening and Stephen and his family got there that night too. Thursday was spent with the Zinn's in Duncan. Friday we hung out at Mom and Dad's most of the day. Aaron went hunting that morning and got a big buck! So, the guys "took care of that" :) Amy and I got to do a little shopping and of course, we all spent a lot of time playing with the kiddos. Saturday we all headed to Stratford for the Hobson side Thanksgiving. Aaron and I only got to stay a little while, because we had to head to Stillwater for the Bedlam game (and we'll just leave it at that..... Maybe next year Cowboys...) Everyone came and stayed Saturday night at our house and then headed home Sunday afternoon. It was such a great couple of days. I have to admit, I was sad to wake up to en empty house on Monday morning :(
Can't wait until Christmas and seeing everyone again!

The kids loved Brooklyn!

I think Wyatt ate a whole can of olives!

Cousins-- loving Uncle Pat's Tractor

And this is for my hubby----
If anyone has any great deer meat recipes- I need help :)

Cousins are the Best!

This past weekend, we got to spend some quality time with Stephen, Amy, Karis and Kai. We love getting to see them and were super excited to see their new home! The kids are getting so playful and really starting to interact, that's the fun of having cousins all less than a year apart :)

We even got to babysit for the kiddos on Saturday so Stephen and Amy could go to a memorial service. We loved getting to spend that time with the kids! We're super excited that we get to see them again next week too!! Yay for Thanksgiving and spending time family!

They were so cute when they gave each other hugs :)

Helping load the dishwasher... Well, sort of! (This pic was kind of set up, bc somewhere out there, there is a pic of Stephen, Leah and Julie like this at Grandma's house)

Bath Time! They practically tried to climb in themselves, bc they were so excited!

Karis had a tiring day of playing :)

The cutest kids in the world! (I might be a little partial, but look at those faces!!!)

Happy Halloween

Our cute little moo cow :)
He would not let go of the M&M's from Curt and Pam O!

Annual costume party at The Blackburn's

A special thanks to Mom and Dad for keeping Wyatt at their house Friday night. When we were leaving there house on Saturday after picking him up, he looked at Aaron and I and said "bye bye" and waved to us when it was time to leave. He would have been very happy to just stay with his Nana and Papa! We're pretty sure he likes them ;)

Happy Birthday Pistol Pete!

October 10th just so happens to be Pistol Pete's Birthday, and thanks to the wonderful OKC Zoo, we got to go to his very cool Birthday party! It was neat to see so many OSU fans at the Zoo and so fun to see Pistol Pete and get to eat some of his yummy cake. We were excited bc party pics was there and you could take picture with Pete, well.... that didn't turn out so great. Wyatt loved looking at him, but when it was our turn and we got right next to him, he clung to me and buried his head. So, our picture was pretty sad looking :( We did have a great day though and enjoyed walking around the zoo after the big party.

Racing For A Cure

On Saturday, Aaron and I participated in an event that is near and dear to my heart- The Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure. In college this was my sorority's philanthropy. We raised money for them and volunteered at the race, so I have alot of great memories from that. I also happen to have 2 aunts who are Breast Cancer survivors. It is such a worthy cause to support and it was amazing to see how many people came out. We heard there was around 17,000 people! Way to go OKC!
Not only was I proud to support a great cause, I was also proud that I was able to finish the 5K! Ha! We started running several months ago and set this race as our goal. I am by no means a "runner", so while 5K was probably nothing to alot of the people at the race, it was a big deal for me! I had only one goal, to finish without walking- and I did it! Now, we've found another 5K that is at the end of November. Maybe this time I will actually be able to set a time goal for myself. We shall see!

P.S.- It was pretty cool that we also got to show off some of our O-State pride with these cool "Cowboys for the Cure" shirts!

Pumpkin Time!

It's that time of year again- FALL! I love everything about this time of year: the leaves changing colors, cooler weather, college football, pumpkins, Halloween and so much more! Yesterday was my birthday and to follow with how we celebrated last year, we went to dinner and then to a pumpkin patch. There is a church in MWC that sets up a cute little patch on their front lawn to raise money for missions, so we like that we get to pick out our own pumpkins and support a great cause. Wyatt had a good time picking out his little ones and loading them into our wagon. Here are a few pics from our trip :)

Elmo

Wyatt has a new favorite- ELMO! (I think he ranks alittle higher than Mickey right now!) Aaron noticed a couple of weeks ago when he picked Wyatt up at Daycare that he was playing with a big Elmo and seemed to love it, he then kept saying "melmo". Since then, Wyatt has been recognizing Elmo anywhere he sees him, even the very small one on his diapers. On Monday when I picked him up from school, he tried to bring their Elmo home with us! So, last night at Target, we couldn't resist buying him this cute little talking Elmo doll. He's been carrying it around, saying "ELLLLmo" - it's too cute!

Elmo even ate breakfast with us this morning :)

No No! - part 2

Over the weekend, Wyatt said "NO NO!" alot! And let's just say, it's lost alittle of it's "cuteness". Maybe we encouraged it a bit too much in the beginning, because now he tells us "no" quite often. It's not so cute when your 16 month old tells you no and hits at you when you're trying to get his diaper changed and clothes on... And poor Skooter gets told "No No" all the time, even when he's just sitting there! So.... I'm hoping this phase passes quickly, but in the mean time we've got some work to do :)

No No!

Wyatt loves to say "No No" these days. (Maybe because he's heard it a time or two from us!) And even though it's probably not a good thing, we can't help but laugh when he does it. He sticks his little finger out and points at us when he says it! At first, he would just say it when he was doing something he knew he wasn't supposed to be doing. Then, he started saying it alot to Skooter, but the funniest thing is that if Aaron gives me a big hug and Wyatt sees- he'll look at Aaron and point at him and say "no no!" It is too cute!

I just hope he isn't saying this to his teachers at Daycare!!!

A Birthday Party!

Last weekend, our sweet niece Karis turned ONE! She is adorable and we are so glad that we were able to make the trip to Branson to go to her very first Birthday party. Mom, Dad, Wyatt, Aaron and I left early Saturday morning and got there just in time for the festivities. Lucky for us, her Birthday falls on Labor Day weekend, so we got to spend some extra time and enjoy the long weekend with family. It is so fun to spend time with the kiddos! Wyatt is the oldest grand at 16 months, with Karis right behind at one and little Kai is at 7 months old. Family gatherings just keep getting more entertaining and I can't wait till the next time we're together!

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Wyatt loves Mickey! For a long time now, he's enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. That theme song and the "Hot Dog" song at the end have been live savors for us on several road trips. Lately, he's really loved sitting with his big
Mickey and giving him hugs. It is so sweet! I hope that he likes Mickey for a long time, because I like him too :)

Playing Catch Up

So... After a month away from the blog- I'm back! Here is a quick look at what's been going on since I last posted.

A baby shower for my sweet friend Alicia (Isn't that the cutest cake?!)

A Trip to the Oklahoma Aquarium

Lunch on the riverwalk in Jenks

Our early Anniversary trip to Dallas to see Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker (also our first night away from Wyatt! Thanks Nana and Papa Joe for babysitting)

Payton Grace Blackburn made her arrival!

And last but not least, a trip to the Stephens County Fair with Nana and Papa Joe :)
We've also been back into our school routine for almost a month now. Although it was a rough start (lots of tears from Wyatt and me), things are getting much smoother. He has a new teacher at his daycare and we've been really happy with her and she already seems attached to out little guy. School started on the 17th for me and it's been non-stop since. We have our largest enrollment in a long time, so it's going to be a busy year.
I know I've said this before, but I am going to try to be a better blogger :)
