One week and counting....

(First- I apologize for being a terrible blogger. I really thought I would do better this summer!)

One week from today, instead of sipping my coffee and sharing some cheerios with Wyatt while we watch Mikey Mouse, I'll be scrambling around trying to get ready for work on time. That's right, my summer break is coming to an end :( I am TRYING very hard to have a positive attitude about going back and the upcoming school year (but you might want to start praying for me now!) I am very lucky to have the job that I do: I get to work with some great ladies, cute kiddos, have plenty of breaks and of course an entire summer off. This summer has just been so much fun! Wyatt is so funny and keeps me entertained and on my toes. I thank God for all the time that I've gotten to spend with my little guy and pray that our transition back to daycare and school goes smoothly.
In the meantime... We're going to make the most of my last few days off work! We're getting ready to head to the zoo today, lunch with our sweet neighbor tomorrow, family fun day in Tulsa Friday and I'm sure alot of time swimming and playing outside on the other days.

Messy Man

Today at lunch Aaron said "What did we do before Wyatt? He's just so funny!"
You can tell by this picture, we spend alot of time laughing at our house these days =)

Red, White and Blue

"There ain't no doubt I love this land... God Bless the USA!"

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! We started our weekend off with a cookout at our amazing neighbors house. The rainy weather put a little damper on the plans, but we still had a great time and it didn't stop some of them from jumping in the pool (Aaron and Wyatt included!) The evening ended with the guys going and getting some fireworks and we all enjoyed watching them. On Sunday, we headed to the big town of Stratford for another cookout with the Hobson side of the family. Wyatt got to go on his first horse ride and LOVED it! I think he would have stayed outside all day if we had let him. We ended the afternoon with some homemade ice cream- yummy! Unfortunately, on Sunday I had a little mishap with our camera and cracked the screen, so since Aaron was off on Monday, we spent the morning camera shopping. After we picked out a new camera, which we're loving, we headed downtown for lunch and a trip to Bass Pro. It was the perfect weekend spent with woderful friends and family and a great reminder of the freedoms we have as Americans... God Bless the USA :)

POPS

On Wednesday we went to Pops for our very first time. It's somewhere we always talk about going, but never had. From the glass walls lined with soda pop bottles to the many coolers filled with them- it's such a neat place. We didn't have to wait long before we were seated and enjoying our burgers and yummy malts :) Of course, before we left we filled up a six pack with several different interesting flavors of pop. We weren't there when it was dark, so we missed seeing the huge Pop bottle that lights up at night, but we did get a few pics outside. If you're ever in the area, you should stop by for a visit too!

Sweet Summertime

This has been such a great summer so far! (hard to belief it's already half way over) We have spent a lot of time playing outside, swimming at the neighbors and in our kiddie pool, hanging out with friends and even made a trip to the zoo. Now, we're getting ready for a fun filled 4th of July weekend. Have a great weekend everyone!!!
