I can't believe that we are only 4 short weeks away from Wyatt's due date! This pregnancy has gone by so fast. It seems like it was just Sept. and we were finding out the big news... But here we are, in the final stages of preparing for our little guy to be here. Some days I feel like I am just ready for him to be here and then I have days where I think "Oh no! We still have so much to get done!". We have our last two showers this week and I think I will feel alittle better after we have them and get more of the "stuff" that we need. I guess I'm also in the nesting stage bc I worry constantly about the house being clean and making sure that we have enough groceries and household supplies before he gets here. I even sat down and made a grocery list today so Aaron can make a trip this week. I was sure to be very detailed and even added what isles some things were on! (haha.. maybe I'm alittle OCD??) He did politely remind me that he was single once and managed to find things at the store :)
We went to an all day childbirth class yesterday. It was infomative and went by pretty quickly. We toured the hospital, went over some posters and handouts, practiced breathing techniques and watched several videos... Oh the videos.... I'm the kind of person that feels like "ignorance is bliss" when it comes to child birth. Yes, i'm an educated girl, i've heard plenty of stories and even seen my share of Baby Stories, but these didn't compare. Trust me, I was better off not seeing them! Overall though, the class was good and did help prepare us for the big day.
Now, we try to patiently wait!

Baby Shower #1
We are very proud of Wyatt's 1st OSU & Twins shirts!
The CUTEST cake ever! Not to mention, strawberry- my favorite!
On Sunday my great friends Alicia and Annie hosted our very 1st baby shower for some of our close friends and family. We got so many wonderful gifts and it was a nice time for me to visit with everyone and catch up. We literally lost track of time afterwards just sitting around talking. It was GREAT! If you're reading this girls... we should definitely do that more often :) Thanks to everyone who came or sent a gift- we appreciate it more than you know! (Here are a few pics, but I didn't get very many) Now, I'm off to start sorting through and organizing all of the great gifts!

High Blood Pressure = Alot of Resting!
As some of you know, I had to have some tests done last week bc my blood pressure has been high and they wanted to check for preeclampsia. I went to the Dr. today and found out that my lab work came back fine- thank goodness! However, my blood pressure is still high. The Dr. is going to continue to let me work for now, but with as little activity as possible. This goes for at home too. Aaron has graciously stepped up to do whatever he needs to do to help me and Wyatt (he's in the kitchen cooking dinner right now!). I'm not even allowed to do any shopping :( This means Aaron will also get to make those dreaded Wal-Mart trips alone! I'll be going to the Dr. weekly now and will continue to monitor my bp. Hopefully, with the extra rest everything will turn out fine, but please continue to say a little prayer for us....
On a happier note, we had our first shower yesterday. We are truely blessed with an amazing group of family of friends. We got a ton of great stuff! I'll be sure and get some pictures up asap- I mean, I am going to have some extra time on my hands ;)

Maternity Pics
We were lucky enough to have a college friend of mine take some great maternity pics at 30wks for us. She even came to our house (talk about convenient!). She did a great job and I am very excited for her new photography career. Here are a few pics and you can also check out her blog to see some more.

Hello Blog World!
I enjoy reading other people's blogs so much, that I finally decided that I should give in and start one of our own :) No promises that it will be updated as much as it should, but here goes!
