Week 36... Where has the time gone??

I can't believe that we are only 4 short weeks away from Wyatt's due date! This pregnancy has gone by so fast. It seems like it was just Sept. and we were finding out the big news... But here we are, in the final stages of preparing for our little guy to be here. Some days I feel like I am just ready for him to be here and then I have days where I think "Oh no! We still have so much to get done!". We have our last two showers this week and I think I will feel alittle better after we have them and get more of the "stuff" that we need. I guess I'm also in the nesting stage bc I worry constantly about the house being clean and making sure that we have enough groceries and household supplies before he gets here. I even sat down and made a grocery list today so Aaron can make a trip this week. I was sure to be very detailed and even added what isles some things were on! (haha.. maybe I'm alittle OCD??) He did politely remind me that he was single once and managed to find things at the store :)
We went to an all day childbirth class yesterday. It was infomative and went by pretty quickly. We toured the hospital, went over some posters and handouts, practiced breathing techniques and watched several videos... Oh the videos.... I'm the kind of person that feels like "ignorance is bliss" when it comes to child birth. Yes, i'm an educated girl, i've heard plenty of stories and even seen my share of Baby Stories, but these didn't compare. Trust me, I was better off not seeing them! Overall though, the class was good and did help prepare us for the big day.
Now, we try to patiently wait!

  1. LOL!! I think I nodded my head throughout this entire post!! :) Ditto, ditto, ditto! :) And yes, Kyle and I both could have done without the videos...ewww! lol! I forgot to mention in my previous comment, but I too loved doing J's laundry before he got here...it was so. much. fun. to fold his little clothes and arrange them ever so perfectly in his dresser and closet. :) Ohhhh how I miss the days when everything was perfectly put away and organized! Haha!
